The Story Behind Luna Earth
The name Luna Earth Company has a very personal story.
Luna is the name of our beloved Labrador. She brings joy, companionship, and countless walks in nature that reminded us to slow down and appreciate simple moments.
Earth reflects something our family has experienced repeatedly throughout life: we feel calmer, more grounded, and less anxious when we spend time outdoors. Nature has a remarkable ability to help us step back from daily pressures and reconnect with what matters most.
The word Company was chosen intentionally.
Luna Earth is not simply my project.
My daughter has been involved from the beginning. Together we create ideas, design colouring pages, explore creative projects, learn about entrepreneurship, and build something meaningful together.
Some of our best conversations happen while colouring, crocheting, walking, or creating something with our hands.
In many ways, Luna Earth is about connection as much as it is about personal growth.
Why This Work Matters
Throughout my life I have worn many different hats.
I have been a physician, leader, educator, entrepreneur, wife, mother, caregiver, volunteer, and lifelong learner.
I have lived with my family in New Zealand, Madeira, Scotland, and Denmark, and spent a high school year in Kentucky, USA.
These experiences taught me something important:
Life rarely follows a straight line.
Careers change. Children grow. Parents age. Health challenges appear unexpectedly. Opportunities arise when we feel least prepared for them.
Many women find themselves balancing professional ambitions, family responsibilities, relationships, caregiving, and personal goals at the same time.
The challenge is not simply achieving success.
The challenge is creating a life that remains sustainable as circumstances change.
That question sits at the heart of Luna Earth.

Looking Forward
Luna Earth Company brings together many of the lessons I have learned throughout my personal and professional journey.
Not as a place for perfect answers.
But as a place for thoughtful questions.
A place where ambitious women can explore how to continue growing, contributing, and thriving without losing themselves in the process.
Because sustainable success is not about doing less.
It is about living and working in a way that allows you to flourish for the long term.
